notes from an urban hibernation

A thin glass

IMG_0202

I continue to look for a tall, thin, probably ever-so-slightly conical glass to drink my alcohol-free beer from. Not long ago the whole area around the bottom of Rue Montmartre was littered with   restaurant and catering suppliers. They have now become cook shops. It seems that as the world has gone more colour-supplement, so that the simple drinking glass has got much thicker and convoluted in the functions  it serves. At the same time, it is amazing how many gas-station freebies you see on café and restaurant tables. Maybe Dehillerin will have something of suitable – as plain as their frontage. SC
